Using #UberData, we show how our presence in New Jersey connects drivers and riders at times when DUI danger is the greatest.
Today we are one step closer to our vision of UberEverywhere — a bold idea that no matter where you are, a reliable ride with Uber is just 5 minutes away. With today’s launch of 24 new markets, the Uber network is now available in 205 cities across 45 countries and 6 continents worldwide (bring it, Antarctica!) — more than double our #Uber100 milestone reached just four months ago.
Our roots are technology, not politics, writing code and rolling out transportation systems. The result is that not enough people here in America and around the world know our story, our mission, and the positive impact we’re having. Uber has been in a campaign but hasn’t been running one. That is changing now.
Uber is proud to announce a national partnership with the American Red Cross to help cities and citizens during disasters. The partnership took effect last week as this season’s first tropical storm, Arthur, developed. Uber is partnering with the American Red Cross1 to help communities’ disaster relief efforts.
This Fourth of July, we’re kicking off our partnership with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to help keep you safe on the road! To get things started, we’re donating $1 to MADD ($10 for new riders) for every ride taken between 6 a.m. on July 4 and 6 a.m. on July 5 when you enter the promo code UberMADD. Help us spread the word!
